Cresol (mixed isomers, also known as cresylic acid) is a mixture of ortho-, meta-, and para-cresol. It is used as a disinfectant, in the production of resins, and as a chemical feedstock.\n\nWidely applied in the manufacture of phenolic resins, wire enamel, and disinfectant formulations.
